Temple Layout:

alter out the back. In the middle is the medium level gods and in the front are the minor
gods.

In front of the stairs are to fog dogs or Chinese lions.
Roofless:
Chinese temples generally have roofless parts of it for feng shei purposes.
Courtyards:
Courtyards generally have incence burners and plants.
